Aaron Perry-Zucker's Portfolio

Aaron Perry-Zucker is a visual communicator with a passion for creating progressive change.

Launched in 2013 by Creative Action Network, the See America Project is a crowdsourced collection of poster designs for National Parks and Landmarks across the United States. Inspired by the original poster series from the Works Progress Administration of the New Deal, this new collection of over 1,500 designs submitted by over 1,000 artists and designers represent locations in all 50 states. See the full collection on the Creative Action Network website. Proceeds support the National Parks Conservation Association, the only independent, nonpartisan membership organization devoted exclusively to advocacy on behalf of the National Parks System. The collection has been exhibited around the world including the F.D.R. Presidential Library and Museum, the Interior Museum in Washington D.C, and the U.S. Embassies in Bahrain and Canada. Curated sets have been featured in publications including a book by Chronicle Books, three years of calendars by Workman Publishing, a limited edition line of candles by Yankee Candles, a line of children's t-shirts at Crazy8 and more. In addition to recruiting and organizing all of the designers involved, I designed all of the project materials including the Chronicle Book. For this project, my co-foudner Max Slavkin and I were awarded the Robin W. Winks Award For Enhancing Public Understanding Of Our National Parks by N.P.C.A. and were named 20 Under 30: The Next Generation of National Park Leaders by National Geographic.
